According to sky Italia a bid from West Ham, thought to be around the £25m Mark, was accepted last night and talks are now underway to sign the Colombian striker. Those of you who are unimpressed with the striker as a target for the club should note his excellent record in recent years as well as the fact that signing a solid goalscorer like Bacca now allows more time to find a younger front-line striker going forward. I think he’d be a wonderful signing for the season going forward.

Green St. Hammer Rating: 9/10

Now looking increasingly likely, and he would definitely be our first choice striker. HE would get us goals this season and the next, and would allow us to bring more young players through without pressure. I’d be very happy with this signing and I’m enjoying news that it is becoming more likely.
