Olivier Giroud

It may seem strange but there have been a lot of whispers regarding the Frenchman’s possible exit from arsenal if they sign another striker. If it’s true I’d be very interested in bringing him to the club as I feel he plays a style of football that would suit our game. Those of you who watched the Germany v France game will have cringed at his poor show of pace when through on goal but he was instrumental in France’s game-plan and if available for the right price I think he would be a shrewd acquisition.

Green St. Hammer Rating: 3/10

Unless Arsenal sign another striker this move is dead in the water, but with the move for Vardy rebuffed it looks as though Wenger is not prepared to let Giroud spearhead the attack alone again this season. Many fans are saying they’d be disappointed with the Frenchman up top, but I think he’d suit our game more than he does Arsenal’s.
